The historic city of Athens, Greece, is serving as the meeting point for Bangladeshi professionals, entrepreneurs, community leaders, and cultural figures from around the world as the Bangla Eurovision Community Awards 2026 and Global Bangladeshi Professionals Networking Summit & Cultural Festival continues its three-day program from June 12–14, 2026.
Held at Kavalari Hotel & Suites in Acharnes, Athens, the international gathering has attracted participants from Europe, North America, Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, and other regions, transforming the venue into a vibrant hub of cultural exchange, professional networking, and diaspora engagement. Organized under the leadership of Idris Ali Aziz, President, and Jahir Dakia, Organizer and CEO, the summit aims to strengthen global Bangladeshi connections while promoting business collaboration and cultural heritage.
According to organizers, the event was designed to create opportunities for professionals and community leaders to build international partnerships, explore investment prospects, recognize outstanding achievements, and celebrate the richness of Bangladeshi culture on a global stage. The program includes business seminars, networking forums, awards ceremonies, cultural performances, community activities, and discussions involving representatives from both Bangladesh and Greece.
One of the featured speakers was Imam Muhammad Shahidullah, CEO of Save The People USA, who addressed attendees on the growing opportunities for cooperation between the United States and Greece. In his remarks, he highlighted sectors such as trade, technology, logistics, tourism, agriculture, renewable energy, and infrastructure as promising areas for future collaboration. He described Greece as a strategic gateway connecting Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia, making it an attractive destination for international partnerships and investment.
Beyond economic development, Imam Shahidullah emphasized the importance of peace, inclusion, and mutual respect. He called for stronger cooperation among communities and reaffirmed a message of unity, stating that people of every faith, background, and nationality deserve dignity, security, and opportunity. His remarks resonated with the summit’s broader goal of fostering understanding across borders while strengthening diaspora engagement.
The event’s schedule includes international business presentations, cultural showcases, community activities, awards recognition, and discussions focused on entrepreneurship and professional development. Traditional Bangladeshi cuisine, cultural entertainment, and networking opportunities have further contributed to the festival atmosphere.
As Bangla Eurovision Community Awards 2026 continues through June 14, organizers say the summit is not only celebrating achievement and culture but also building lasting connections among Bangladeshis across the globe. Participants and organizers alike hope the event will strengthen international relationships, encourage future collaborations, and further elevate Bangladeshi culture and professional excellence on the world stage.
