The voices of newly graduated Huffaz took center stage as An-Noor Institute celebrated its 7th Annual Hifzul Qur’an Graduation Ceremony, bringing together students, scholars, parents and community members for an occasion devoted to Qur’anic learning and the achievements of a new generation.
The ceremony featured Ameer Al Hind Hazrat Allama Syed Arshad Madani (DB) as chief guest and was presided over by Mufti Mohammed Abdullah Sahib. The presence of senior religious scholars added significance to an event centered on students who had completed the demanding work of memorizing the Qur’an. An-Noor Institute described the ceremony as a major success and expressed gratitude for the large community turnout.
Among the central moments of the program were Qur’an recitations by the new Huffaz, giving those gathered an opportunity to hear the students demonstrate the results of their studies. Syed Arshad Madani also delivered nasiha, or religious guidance, offering advice to the graduates and those attending. The combination of recitation, scholarly guidance and prayer placed the students’ accomplishment within the wider responsibility of preserving and living by Qur’anic teachings.
The gathering drew Ulama, parents, families and other community members, reflecting the shared role of teachers, families and religious institutions in supporting Hifzul Qur’an education. An-Noor Institute also recognized the volunteers and supporters who contributed to the ceremony and thanked those who attended or offered prayers for the graduates.
For the students and their families, the graduation marked the completion of an important stage of Islamic education. For An-Noor Institute, the seventh annual ceremony also represented the continuation of an educational effort focused on helping young Muslims establish a lasting relationship with the Qur’an.
Following the program, the institute offered prayers for its students, teachers and supporters, asking that the young Huffaz remain steadfast in their connection with the Qur’an. The ceremony closed with a message of gratitude and a prayer that the graduates carry their learning forward throughout their lives.
