A major step toward deeper international business cooperation took place in New York as the U.S.-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce & Industry (USBCCI) joined a high-level strategic partnership and Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony hosted by the Turkish American Chamber of Commerce & Industry (TACCI USA).

The event was held at the iconic Turkish House (Türkevi), bringing together diplomats, elected officials, chamber leaders, business executives, entrepreneurs, and community representatives. The ceremony focused on strengthening international trade relations, expanding business networking, and creating new opportunities for cross-border economic cooperation.

Md. Liton Ahmed, President & CEO of USBCCI, attended the ceremony and expressed appreciation to TACCI USA for organizing the event and recognizing USBCCI as part of its growing network of strategic partners. He said the partnership reflects a shared commitment to advancing trade, investment, entrepreneurship, and economic development among the United States, Bangladesh, Türkiye, and broader global business communities.

The gathering also highlighted the importance of chambers of commerce in connecting entrepreneurs and institutions across borders. By participating in the event, USBCCI reaffirmed its role in promoting Bangladeshi-American business interests while building bridges with international partners.

Ahmed also congratulated TACCI USA and the Turkish American National Steering Committee (TASC) for their work in bringing diverse business communities together. He noted that such collaboration helps create meaningful opportunities for entrepreneurs, investors, and professionals seeking to expand beyond local markets.

Special appreciation was extended to H.E. Ambassador Muhittin Ahmet Yazal, Consul General of the Republic of Türkiye in New York, for hosting the ceremony at Turkish House and for his remarks emphasizing unity, cooperation, and global partnership.

The event concluded with a message centered on shared progress and long-term collaboration. For USBCCI, the ceremony represented another step in expanding international partnerships, supporting entrepreneurs, and helping strengthen trade relations between communities with growing economic potential.

As participants left Türkevi, the spirit of the gathering was captured in the event’s closing message: “Stronger Together. Greater Tomorrow.”
