In a warm display of faith, fellowship, and community engagement, the Jamaica Bangladeshi Association (JBA) hosted an Iftar and Dua Mahfil on Friday afternoon at Agra Palace on Queens Boulevard in Queens, New York, bringing together prominent members of the Bangladeshi-American community for a Ramadan gathering marked by gratitude and solidarity.
The event drew a wide range of attendees, including local community leaders, business leaders, and representatives from both print and electronic media, underscoring the association’s standing within the broader Bangladeshi diaspora in New York. As guests gathered to break their fast, the evening reflected the spiritual atmosphere of Ramadan while also serving as a space for community connection and mutual appreciation.
Welcoming the attendees, JBA President Shah Nawaz, Secretary Syed Rabbi, and Advisor Ahsan Habib expressed their gratitude to all those present for helping make the occasion a success.
