The Arab American Association of New York (AAANY) celebrated adult learners at its 2026 ESOL Graduation & Recognition Celebration, honoring students who completed English-language studies during the Fall, Winter, and Spring 2025–2026 terms. The event marked an important milestone for participants whose work reflected persistence, personal growth, and a commitment to building new skills.
Organized through AAANY’s Adult Education Program, the celebration recognized both graduates and participants for their progress throughout the academic year. Students received certificates representing hours of study, classroom participation, and steady effort across three terms. For many learners, the achievement also reflected courage in pursuing education while strengthening their ability to communicate, connect, and take part in community life.
“Each certificate represents hard work, commitment, courage, and an important step toward confidence, opportunity, and community connection,” AAANY stated in its announcement. The organization also congratulated the class with a direct message of support: “Congratulations to all of our graduates and participants. We are so proud of you!”
