The Council of Peoples Organization (COPO) recently hosted a deeply impactful event in observance of World Hijab Day, drawing strong community participation and fostering meaningful conversations around identity, inclusion, and empowerment. The gathering brought together individuals from diverse backgrounds for an evening of discussion, reflection, and solidarity.
Held in recognition of World Hijab Day, which is marked globally each year to honor Muslim women who choose to wear the hijab, the event served as both a celebration and a platform for education. Attendees explored the cultural, religious, and personal significance of the hijab through thoughtful dialogue and shared experiences.
