A powerful gathering of thought leaders, scholars, and youth unfolded in Doha during the Wujuhat Town Hall on Conscience, Power & Moral Leadership, an event focused on advancing global conversations around justice, ethics, and transformative leadership. The town hall, held under the banner of “Perspectives”, was proudly sponsored by Human Concern USA, an international humanitarian relief organization dedicated to uplifting communities through compassion and action.
The evening brought together a distinguished lineup of speakers, including Imam Omar Suleiman, Sami Hamdi, Imam Tom Facchine, Dalya Ayoub, and Leanne Mohammad, each offering deep insights into the intersections of faith, morality, and public responsibility. The gathering encouraged both introspection and critical dialogue at a time when global events have intensified the need for ethical clarity and collective accountability.
A key focus of the program was youth empowerment, with a dedicated segment for university students and young professionals to strengthen their critical thinking and media literacy. Organizers emphasized the importance of equipping the next generation with the tools to challenge misinformation and to lead with integrity.
“This town hall brought forward essential questions about how we engage with power and how we hold our institutions—and ourselves—accountable,” said one attendee. “It’s an educational and reflective space that centers justice, not just as an ideal, but as a daily practice.”
Panels and discussions explored real-world implications of moral leadership across disciplines and regions, with participants delving into issues ranging from global humanitarian crises to media ethics and civic responsibility.
Human Concern USA’s sponsorship of the event underscored the organization’s broader mission to cultivate ethical engagement and amplify community voices rooted in justice. “We believe that real change begins with education, dialogue, and principled leadership,” a representative noted. “Supporting this town hall aligns with our commitment to long-term, people-centered impact.”
As the evening concluded, the atmosphere was one of reflection and resolve—an affirmation that when communities come together to interrogate power through the lens of conscience, they begin to shape a more just and accountable world.
